Just the other day, they announced that they had acquired a new chief sustainability officer known as Johnson Hoffman who would be joining the company with immediate effect. At the same time, the new executive will be under the chief operating officer and president of the company known as David McDonald. She will be responsible for the continuous growth of the company and continue to execute her role as the senior vice president. Under the new capacity, Hoffman is expected to collaborate with relevant stake holders such as executives, customers and suppliers to ensure that there is sustainability within OSI Group. She was also appointed to improve customer experience within the firm.
This comes few days after the company announced that they were expanding their operations in the Philippines. However, to achieve this, the company had to collaborate with GADC alongside Fred Uytengsu. The OSI Group announced that the new facility will be located at a place known as Canlubang that is found in Calamba, Laguna. This facility is aimed at increasing the company production in the region. Some of the products that the firm will specialize in include fish products, chicken and beef. The OSI Group noted that the new facility is a state of the facility that will use the latest machinery. The OSI Group management also announced that the new facility has an annual capacity of approximately 23,000 metric tons. The chief executive officer of the OSI Group Sheldon Lavin said that he was very pleased with the new acquisition. He emphasized the company’s commitment to offering quality products.
